Identifying and cultivating external and internal leaders is a significant challenge throughout Deaf Education and the Deaf community. In this presentation, learn how your school can enhance the development of aspiring leaders. Learn how to advocate for the dismantling of systemic barriers that would otherwise inhibit leaders from growing in their current role, applying to a new role with greater responsibility and decision-making, or moving up whether within the organization or with another organization. This workshop is designed for the established leader or aspiring leader who wishes to contribute toward the continued success of their school and field of Deaf Education.
